Sleep Deprivation is a growing concern in modern day with people in general especially students. The lack amount of sleep students get on a daily basis has a huge impact over their lives. Sleep is essential for everyone and has a significant contribution. However, in today’s society young adolescents are receiving less time of sleep due to many reasons. Although, many do not realize as they lose more sleep there are bad side effects that come along with that which could potentially hurt these students internally and externally. Foremost, sleep deprivation needs to be regulated in order to refix how students are sleeping and to better reflect on each and every individual.

The whole concept of sleep is for humans to regain their strength and energy which allows all the systems in their body to operate. Although, there is so much that sleep can do to force things on students and lead to all these disastrous pain into hurting their mental health. These effects are seen more in youngsters in which what they do their own bodies. The most common is “that sleep disruption-which affects levels of neurotransmitters and stress hormones, among other things, wreaks havoc in the brain, imparing thinking and emotional regulation.” This results in their physical health to produce symptoms like insomnia or cause
Sleep is vital in order for them to be healthier and do better academically. The world needs to take time to find ways to control sleep deprivation that is continuing affect others today. There is so many negative aspects of the scarcity of sleep that can have an impact on one’s life. However; there are still many different ways it can be avoided. Sleep deprivation is dangerous and has consequences that can be short term or long term. This is the reason for students and those around them need to see the importance in maintaining good sleeping practices. If we don’t change this problem students or even everyone could just end up suffering. We need to manage the way we sleep everyday and alternate into a more fitted sleeping atmosphere that will have a positive return in the end.
