When humans usually listen to music, it’s because they like the artist, song or genre. When I listen to music it’s simply because of the beat. The bass drums, melody, and the clever metaphors used is what makes listening so worthwhile. I feel I am one of the few people who doesn’t have a genre of choice. I’ll listen to anything, if I can either relate to it or the song has a nice beat behind it. The music I listen to helps me sort things out in life. My life hasn’t been easy. I’ve had all types of issues from school, to relationships, family or finances. All in all, if I’m having a bad day, I’ll listen to a louder fast beat song. The title may sound self-explanatory, but it’s not. This just showcases how you can give your all to someone or something, and still not be earning the respect you want, need and deserve. In this world, I’ve come to the realization that not everyone Is helpful, or would even want to be a part of your life. That’s their loss because they will be the ones needing help in the long run, while you have your life together, masking in the sun’s glory. As I grew up, the people I used to call my friends, I no longer did. “somebody real is hard to find, somebody worth all your time.” This is true for me, after having to grow up not being a hue socialite, and trying to find friends who were there because they wanted to be instead of trying to mooch off me was hard. I feel just like any other person; I just want someone to be 100% honest and will never change for the worst. Someone who won’t turn behind my back and treat me as if I never meant anything to them. The very person who will be against the old saying “some people are here for a season, while others are here for a reason. Overall my life soundtrack would be an exact replica of life lessons I learned, or wish I had learned up this far. A perfect reflection of what I want, or what I’ve had is the perfect mindset. You just want the things and people you love to appreciate you for who you are. You want the people around you to have genuine respect, and last you would love to have the same life goals as your best-friend or closest relative. If that isn’t the way things are meant to be, then I just don’t know how they should be
