1In the book “The Giver” the government control and suppression of its people. What can happen if we don’t remain active in our government through voting. Many other choices that we are given. The government can also, take over our lives by taking away our basic rights and freedoms. The Giver in what government can become if we do not put our voice out there.
2Some similarities are that children go to school and have recess, adults have jobs. The differences between our society and the community in the book lifelong jobs are assigned by the committee of elders, thought control is medically enhanced. Differences are that babies are made by various DNA’s but they aren’t controlled. The difference between our society and the giver’s society
