Further chaos led to the emergence of anarchy that created a truly remarkable social order in society through a process referred as feudalism. According to early philosophers in Europe such as Karl Marx, they developed several philosophies that helped in transforming Europe especially transforming the system of governance that was characterized by “a concentration of power in the hands of few that caused further oppression of the minority peasant farmers” (Brown, 104) . The system often placed peasants in working for the rulers as an economic nature. Historians provide the basis for rejection of feudalism as a philosophy that is aimed at bringing social stability. In an environment that is characterized by authorities dominating institutions of power and not legitimizing legal rights of individuals in the society, it leads to poor people further falling into the hands of castellans where no one was ever secure. The rise of transatlantic trade mainly incorporated slaves as the main item of trade from the African continent. Slave trade was perceived as means of depriving individuals their freedoms and liberties and to the greater extent seen as the violation of human rights. Particularly religious revolutions condemned the rise of the slave trade as it violated human rights. Feudal societies also played a significant role in abolishing the slave trade in Europe as it didn't create space for the trade. The authorities created universal domination of social, political and economic institutions creating autonomy in medieval European nations. Throughout history, it can be seen time and time again that rulers have different ways of rule. As expected, rulers may look over to different nations to see what is effective to prevent failures or encourage successes. With different forms of rule comes different thinkers and their take on the current methods of ruling which can be seen in Marx and Engels’ The Communist Manifesto, Machiavelli’s The Prince, and Locke’s Second Treatise on Government. Coming from different periods, it is expected that their perspectives are different. When the Atlantic slave trade began in the 16th century, a new era of agriculture, trade, economic strength, and discrimination began. It touched lives of many millions of people in both positive and negative ways. Through the slaves, the plantation owners were able to increase their work rate and their income to build stronger economies for their home countries. The slaves themselves were emotionally traumatized when they were separated from their families to work for cruel owners and as many of their own peoples died next to them. Discrimination and the concept of white superiority began and continues on today, along with the understanding that is is fair for humans to be used as commodities. The Triangular Trade involving the buying and selling of slaves not only affected the people living through that time, such as the owners and slaves, but affected the world as a whole as it has to deal with discrimination and slavery even today.
Although scholars dispute its roots, Feudalism was mostly seen in Frankish lands around the 9th and 10th century. ("Feudalism: History of Feudalism in Europe." Infoplease.) The system was first introduced as a means of protection for the king. However, as time grew the opportunity to use it as means of exchange for services between the king and vassal was found. Instead of just forcing people into the king’s army the idea of giving fiefs to those who would pledge their life to service the king was decided on. Likewise, vassal, or the knights saw the advantages they had that could be used to their advantage.
The enslavement of people of African descent was a part of the Atlantic slave trade. Slaves would be shipped from Africa to the Americas and work mainly in cotton, tobacco, or sugar plantations for free. Then, the goods were sent to Europe. Millions of people were enslaved, as it was a very successful business where capitalism was established. However, it was abolished, first by Denmark in 1802, then by Britain in 1807 and the other European countries followed the movement during the century (Wade 2015, 100-101).
Slaves and slave trade has been an important part of history for a very long time. In the years of the British thirteen colonies in North America, slaves and slave trade was a very important part of its development. It even carried on to almost 200 years of the United States history. The slave trade of the thirteen colonies was an important part of the colonies as well as Europe and Africa. In order to supply the thirteen colonies efficiently through trade, Europe developed the method of triangular trade. It is referred to as triangular trade because it consists of trade with Africa, the thirteen colonies, and England. These three areas are commonly called the trades “three legs.”

The feudal system was a political, military, and economic system based on the holding of land. The system was developed since the whole entire basis of rule from all the civilizations before the Middle Ages was lost. Early Europe was in desperate need of such a system since they were constantly being raided by the Vikings and other outsiders.
In 1789, thousands of starving peasants abandoned the lands of their ancestors as the price of bread rose to eighty percent of the average peasant’s income (Kreis). Blazing buildings marked the path they took to the source of their woes in Paris. They attacked any food cart they passed. The outline of their skeleton could be seen from under their filthy, thread-bare clothing. Their impoverished condition had reached its climax. Their desperation led them to action. They over took the largest fortress in France, the Bastille, in search of weapons. Members of the Bourgeoisie had formed the National Assembly three weeks prior to the storming of the Bastille to begin to address the grievances of the peasants (Dabney). On August 4, the National Assembly met in Paris, and, with one enthusiastic fell swoop, they agreed to abolish the feudal system forever, thus gaining the support of the mob. “The Decree of the National Assembly Abolishing the Feudal System” created equality between the nobility and citizens, ended the Church’s authority over the state, and pledged to work with King Louis XVI to rectify the injustices of the people.
The Atlantic Slave Trade that for three centuries caused pain and desolation to the African American people who traveled to the Americas against their own will. Were brought to a land where they would be seen, as slaves. The Atlantic Slave Trade origins and growth were a main part in the building of chattel slavery that was beginning in the United States. Due to Chattel slavery, the American ideologies of white domination and economy were shaped to be one of discrimination and injustice. Ignoring this the Europeans saw this as an expansion of power and meeting the needs of workforce demanded.

At the start of the revolution, in 1789, France’s class system changed dramatically (Giddens, 2014). Aristocrats lost wealth and status, while those who were at the bottom of the social ladder, rose in positions. The rise of sociology involved the unorthodox views regarding society and man which were once relevant during the Enlightenment (Nisbet, 2014). Medievalism in France during the eighteenth century was still prevalent in its “legal structures, powerful guilds, in its communes, in the Church, in universities, and in the patriarchal family” (Nisbet, 2014). Philosophers of that time’s had an objective to attempt to eliminate the natural law theory of society (Nisbet, 2014). The preferred outcome was a coherent order in which the mobility of individuals would be unrestricted by the autonomous state (French Revolution). According to Karl Marx, economic status is extremely important for social change. The peasants felt the excess decadence of the ancient regime was at the expense of their basic standards of living, thus fuelling Marx’s idea of class based revolutions and the transition of society (Katz, 2014). This can be observed, for example, in novels such as Les Liaisons Dangereuses, a novel that had a role for mobilizing the attitudes of the
