The Broken Windows theory is the idea to prevent serious crimes from happening by punishing people for minor offenses. The Broken Window theory was introduced by social scientists James Q. Wilson and George L. Kelling in 1982, theory is the foundation for Broken Windows policing. Since the Broken Window theory was introduce it has been used in policing, this means that police have to focus on criminal activities and other type of unlawful activities by monitoring and maintaining urban environments, if necessary may stop the further vandalism or any other type of crime. I believe that if Police officers and public sphere will gather together, work on the problems, which are happening in the different neighborhoods, this would be the best way to solve the problem and stop the violation of the law. Also if every police officer will wear body cameras, this can be one of the best solutions, because those way police officers will be controlled, like in California every police officers have to wear body cameras, if they make any unlawful move they will be charged. I believe that things that are happening now will be changed in the future, because I believe that this will be a perfect lesson for the police department ,that they can not put too much pressure on the police officers and they should be concentrated about higher crimes, rather than concentrated on smaller crimes like selling illegal cigarettes, because higher crimes like selling illegal drugs or weapons are more dangerous then selling a illegal cigarettes or any other small crimes, also the protests that are happening now will be a perfect example for every future
