There have been many great and important British people throughout history. Some are known for only small things, but others are known for great things that changed our lives. Some have made a great impact, whilst others have made a smaller impact. Some have invented or discovered things, whilst others have spoken out loud. Any of these things can make you important. As there have been many important British people throughout history with different titles against their name, it was very hard to choose the three Britons that have had the biggest impact on British history. This is because he brought about solutions to problems to do with engineering that were pending for a long time. Also, he designed and constructed new types of bridges and ships as well as other things. These constructions had new features to them and were more effective, meaning that people could use them easier and quicker. Also, he made travel faster and more efficient, meaning that people did not have to spend that much time. This did not necessarily change the word, but it did make travel a lot easier and it brought by solutions to other problems. I think that the most important point that makes Brunel an important person is that he developed engineering to a higher standard and made it better for everyone.
