The Amazing Titanic.
The morning of August 15, 1912, tragedy struck. The titanic was known as an “unsinkable ship”. People wondered “How did the ship sink? What went wrong?”. The titanic could have four of its compartments flooded and it still would not sink. Unfortunately 4 was too low of number. There were about 2214 people on board. All of the survivors were on the lifeboats. There were only 20 lifeboats because everyone thought that the titanic would not sink. Some of them crashed into the waves and broke. There were 472 lifeboat seats not used. There were so many open seats because people left before all of the boats were felt. They left because they did not want to be there when the titanic was fully underwater.Only 13 of the lifeboats made it safely to the Carpathia. The Carpathia is the boat that saved anyone who survived the titanic. There was 3560 lifejackets, but if you were in the water you would freeze from

The Titanic claimed to be the ship of its time; one that would never sink. However, what the Titanic claimed to be was not the case because on April 15, 1912 the Titanic hit an iceberg, broke in half, and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. There has been debate ever since that fateful day as to how this happened to the Titanic. Some conspiracy theorist believe the ship never even sank -- regardless of the ships remains at the bottom of the ocean. Other conspiracy theorists believe the Titanic was actually switched with the RMS Olympic because of an insurance scam. Ever since that day, many scientists, engineers, and physicists have tried to analyze the problems of the Titanic; the reasons why it sank.
The RMS Titanic, known as the Ship of Dreams, collided with an iceberg and sunk in the early hours of April 15, 1912. The boat, which was the most luxurious of her time, was set to sail from Southampton, England to New York City. Out of the 2,240 passengers on the boat during her maiden voyage, approximately 1,500 survived on the 20 lifeboats available. a controversial topic that is still debated today is whether or not the disaster of the Titanic could have been avoided. There is considerable evidence to suggest that this statement is true, but to what extent is still being decided today.
The titanic was a ship that was huge and extremely advanced. The ship took 3 years to be completed and over 3, 000 people worked on it. Although the final product could not be fully used it was a well built ship. This ship was well equipped with the best and
I find the story of the RMS Titanic very intriguing. Most everybody knows when it happened or how it happened, but very few people get to know the stories of the people that were passengers on the ill-fated ship. I was very lucky with the resources that I got, because most of them had quotes from the survivors. When reading the quotes, I got chills. I could picture myself in that freezing water or seeing my best friend or brother for the last time. The sinking of the RMS Titanic was a very sad ending of what was supposed to be a fairy-tale, and we can only hope that nothing like this happens ever again.
Dr. Roger McCarthy, disaster analysis expert, Exponent, Inc. noted, "The Titanic is one of the most classic illustrations of that: had just one thing been different, the disaster wouldn't have happened" (McIver 1). Meaning, the Titanic could have easily been prevented. Although the Titanic was a very nice and fancy boat, The Titanic was proved on April 14, 1912, that is was sinkable. The Titanic set sail from Southampton, England and was sailing for New York. At 11:35 at night, a member of the crew noticed the iceberg (Vander 1). This crew member was the captain Edward J. Smith. By the time he could do anything about it, the ship had already hit the iceberg (Landau 7).There were 2,208 people on board that night (Johnson 2). Due
"We are all going to die!" That is what 1500 people were thinking when the Titanic was going down, and they were right. The Titanic was the biggest ship in the world at the time. The Titanic hit an iceberg on April 14, 1912, and over 1500 lives were lost to the deep Atlantic. The person responsible was J. Bruce Ismay. Ismay left the ship with woman and children still on board when he could of saved other people, he ultimately decided for the Titanic to only have 20 lifeboats, and Ismay owned the company that made and designed the Titanic and all of its flaws.

Over 1,500 people lost their lives in the sinking of the ship. The tragic end of the Titanic was only the beginning of new precautions and safety regulations for ships. The infamous demise of the Titanic created an interest that is still present today.
In the Atlantic ocean over a thousand years ago, many vikings would cross the ocean in large boats. A lot of them risked being blown off course by bad storms or dying of some disease they had caught on the boat. The boats would sometimes hit something in the water causing the boat to sink. The Titanic however was the exact opposite of other boats. It had no fear of going into the ocean and risking thousands of people’s lives. Do not go anywhere because the story of how the Titanic changed the way of life on the ocean will be continued.
The ship, R.M.S Titanic, has been popular several different times in a little over 100 years. The first time in April 1912 when it first sailed for North America. This great ship was said to be unsinkable. Many errors led to the major tragedy of the Titanic, including the life boats were not all there or filled as much as they should have been, the ship tried to go full speed to break the iceberg, and the Californian ship did not respond the Carpathia had saved the rest.
The Titanic set voyage on April 1912 to New York. The Titanic and its sister ships, Olympia and Britannic were said to be virtually unsinkable by a magazine article, not the White Star Line. The Titanic was the second ship to set sail on its maiden voyage out of the three sister ships. The Titanic had been built a lot differently than most of the ships back then. For example, a normal ship was built with three funnels but the Titanic had four. The fourth funnel did not serve the same purpose like the other three; its use was for steam to be released from the kitchen. Another example was that the Titanic was the biggest ship at the time. The ship had received ice warnings at least six different times from ships but Captain Smith had ignored
Throughout all of the years I had attended school I had heard the word "Titanic" probably only five times. All I knew of this ship was that it sank and many people died. That was literally the extent of my knowledge about this ship.
