The average American spends over 27 hours on the internet a week. Technology should be used in moderation. We use it to an unnecessary extent. Technology can be very distracting. Students use this technology provided by the schools for cheating, and playing games. Technology is also very unsafe, many people have experienced or taken place in some form of cyber bullying. It is also extremely expensive and can quickly become obsolete. Although in a lot of cases technology makes lives easier, a lot of the times we don't need the help that it brings, and it's just making us lazy.

There are a lot of dangerous websites on the internet. Not only websites but people on those websites can be very dangerous as well. 42% of all teens with access to technology, have reported cyber bullying. This can't be blamed all on the 1 technology of course. Bullying in itself is a problem, but being able to appear completely anonymous over the internet, definitely makes this a lot easier for people to do, and not get caught.
Technology can easily be broken, or become obsolete. There are new advancements in technology every year or two from major companies like apple, and intel. Once there is the next best thing, the previous generation of products, become useless to a lot of people. It can also be damaged very easily, in many ways. And it's very expensive to invest in. Some iPads costing upwards of $1000, and the necessary apps for learning add up too.
Technology is too expensive to be used like this. It's very pricey material, and our generation uses it for cheating and bullying. We are very gifted that we are given technology to aid us in learning, but we shouldn't be using it like we do. Many schools are debating weather to limit access of the iPads, and use more pencil and paper. We should start using technology less often, for more basic of
