My definition of learning is using easier ways to reach students. The teachers should have background, experiences, skills, and abilities to teach what students want to learn, and have a desire to improve their learning. Learning is a transformative process. It takes information that the learners have experienced, uses their prior experiences and determines what they do. The educators need to have substancial educational experiences and drive to improve their teaching in order to help their students’ learning.

It helps to differentiate between success and failure. The most basic type of goal is called performance goal. They are goals that directly correlate to results. On the other side, determinative goals are known as mastery goals. A mastery goal is when the person sets out to become the best at a single task. Learning is a key process in human behavior. The basic components of learning include the results, the means, and the inputs. A teaching philosophy statement is a self-reflection of my beliefs about teaching and learning. It is a systematic and critical rationale that focuses on the important components defining effective teaching. It discusses how to apply these beliefs by including concrete practices of what you do or anticipate doing in the classroom.

My main goal is helping students to learn what they want to learn. Also, I would like to teach them how they can remember, and use critical thinking to solve problems without looking back at their books. I want to engage students in their own learning by providing an appropriate classroom environment where they can improve their learning. Further, I aim to allow students to adjust their learning to become a professional in their field.
I believe all relationships that are intertwined between students or trainees and their mentors. However, there are layers of complexity and ethical issues within this complex relationship. Mentors’ instructions impact their students’ abilities to understand their own responsibilities as they become advisors and mentors themselves. The role of mentoring in learning and teaching is a shared experience that shapes the professional development of the students.
