Taoism is a universal law of nature based on the belief that humans should be in harmony with patterns of nature. Thus, each individual creates his or her unique pattern and acts according to it. What if it comes to the disagreement, how it can be handled within or without norms of morality? The Taoism approach to ethics is quite unique saying there are no rules and each individual is free to act as he/she wants.
Lao-tzu, a part of Taoism philosophy, explains that all human beings are just products of nature and do not have to follow norms or etiquette the same as other elements of nature. The so-called method of nondoing helps achieve concentration and mental stillness. In fact, humans create the rules which separate the world into good and bad instead of letting things be the way they are. People see themselves different from everything around them because of egocentrism, and such an approach leads to conflicts and disagreements. …show more content…

The ethical norms are relative, so every opinion and idea is correct in this or that way. There is no absolute certainty in anything.
According to the philosophies of Lao-tzu and Chuang-tzu, each part of the disagreement can be right, even if they somehow contradict each other. However, Taoism does not give the answer to the question how to handle such a conflict if it takes place. Basically, the Taoism solution to all conflicts is to be in harmony with the nature. Each human should not take closely any conflicts, but just follow the life with the least possible
