Climate change has always been a major everlasting problem. One of the causes of climate change is our human carbon emissions. However, technology has occupied almost every human being. Instead of focusing on reducing their carbon footprints, they are nose deep into their phones and tablets, constantly checking their social media accounts every two minutes instead of creating new alternatives to protect the environment. Although some individuals have attempted at reducing their carbon footprints, it takes more than just one person to make a big difference.
There are still people who believe that global climate change is not real. “It is just a myth,” they say. Dean Burnett from ‘The Guardian’ writes for this specific group of people in his article “Climate change is an obvious myth- how much evidence do you need?” (Source E). Many debate over the impacts of climate change, yet they do nothing to try and diminish it. If we are genuinely trying to reduce global warming, why is littering such a major issue in our world? Litter covers the floors of the earth. They are found everywhere we go, from the beaches to the streets we walk on. According to Litterati, statistics show that the most common litter items found are used on an everyday basis. Plastic and paper are two of the most used items in the entire world, and, conveniently, they are the most commonly found items. Some people may take the idea that one person can make a small difference a little too literally. they may think that one little piece of a cigarette butt or a candy wrappers won't make a difference in protecting our world; however, if everyone thinks that way, each piece of litter thrown will take us one step closer to the pollution of our
