Experiments take place throughout history on different subjects and often result in either a different outcome or similar outcomes. In “The Importance Of Production Frequency In Therapy For Childhood Apraxia Of Speech” by Denice Michelle Edeal, and Christina Elke Gildersleeve-Neumanna and “Syllable Use In Apraxia Of Speech: Preliminary Findings” by Lisa Edmonds and Thomas Marquardt they both create an experiment on a group of children with apraxia. These two articles had the idea that children with apraxia had trouble with speech disorders. For example, in Edeal and Gildersleeve-Neumanna's article, they explain “Types of errors that differentiate CAS from other speech sound disorders include (a) inconsistent vowel and consonant errors in repeated productions of words and syllables; (b) difficulty with articulatory sequencing, often resulting in lengthened and disrupted transitions between words and syllables; and (c) inappropriate prosody.” As a matter of fact Edmonds and Marquardt referred to Keller who noted that individuals with AOS prefer CV and VC syllable shapes, but he did no...
