In Paris, France, an artist named Camille Pissarro painted his creation The Boulevard Montmartre on a Winter Morning, in 1897. In the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this painting is hanging on the second floor in Gallery 820. The galleries within the 800 range, in which this section is dedicated to only the European Paintings in the 19th and the 20th centuries. In Gallery 820, it only displays Camille Pissarro paintings. He was a mentor to many painters, including Paul Cezanne and Paul Gauguin. His works and theories have inspired many artists including Lucy Bacon, who is an Impressionist from California.
