High school can be a very tricky and difficult time. Your courses are harder, there is more homework. So how do you learn to stay on track and keep up with your school work? In high school it is easy to start falling behind, you’re finally able to drive and go do things, there is extracurricular activities and if you play sports that consumes a lot of your time. You have to be able to still make good grades, focus in school, and have a social life. For you to learn to succeed in high school, you need to familiarize yourself with the teacher and the classroom, prepare yourself for the challenging work ahead, and push yourself to the best of your ability. With real genuine effort put forth in school, you can accomplish the goals you wish to achieve. It puts you one step closer to graduation. High school is all about time management. The best way to succeed in high school is learning how to use your time wisely. Don’t wait the night before a big test to cram and study. Set aside 30 minutes of your time each day the week of the test and start studying. If you do this, you’re not over working yourself. Not only will this help you in high school but it better prepares you for the note taking you do in college. You don’t need every bit of information the teacher is putting up on the board. If you learn to write down keys facts or the things that seem majorly important, writing your notes will feel like a breeze. The simpler your notes are the easier they are to study. They are more clear and defined. Keep up with your notes in the same notebook so when it comes time to study for your test they are there in one spot, handy and ready for you to study.
