From being a college drop out to a wealthy entrepreneur, Steve Jobs was a famous inventor and CEO of one of the largest technology companies of the 21st century, Apple Inc. Jobs was a computer smart inventor who knew how to put his brains to good use but under the constraints of a boss there were limits put on his imagination. Being that he lived in a country of free enterprise, Jobs was able to go off and start his own business. The free enterprise system allows producers and consumers to make their own economic decisions. Where you want to work, what you want to sell, or what you want to buy for example. This allowed Jobs to make the decision to start his own business and create his own inventions.
Before starting Apple , Steve Jobs worked at Atari, an arcade game company. Not a bad job, but Jobs wanted more. Jobs worked best when things were on his terms, and everything was done his way. He had an idea, and to put his idea to use he needed to branch out from this job and start something himself. When Steve Jobs was advertising his computer, it was to the world, to the people who would be using the computer, not the govt. The consumers were able to choose if they liked his product, which they did, and because of that his business grew. If he were in a place with no free enterprise, his invention could have been brushed off and we may have never known the use of a personal computer. Consumers play a big role in businesses and free enterprise allows them to. If they like the product, it goes on the market, if they don’t it goes away.
