Many people in this world want to make a difference in life. They want to know that they have made an impact in the world. However, most people do not want to put in all the effort that it takes to do so. The job of a pediatrician is a life changing career to many. The downside to becoming a pediatrician is that it takes drive and effort that many people do not have to become a pediatrician. So what is a pediatrician ? Pediatricians are doctors who specialize and focus in caring for babies to young adults. They deal with childhood diseases and the care of infants with health and sickness. As the silly young kids we were, we all had dreams of becoming a superhero or even an astronaut. Later on in life, as time went by we became more knowledgeable and our answers became more serious. Being a doctor has always been a dream but becoming a pediatrician is a goal. Becoming a pediatrician is a rewarding job because pediatricians get the chance to work with children and young adults. Pediatricians get the feeling that you are doing good in the world by helping others rather than just helping yourself. Having this feeling will make an impact on one's ego and make one feel good about themselves. Being a pediatrician will show people that they are hardworking and committed to long term goals. These are long hours a week and in order to be committed to being a pediatrician one must be able to adjust your work hours to where it suits one's work schedule. The hours of work for a pediatrician are good enough to where one can manage to balance both their doctor life and regular outside life.
