If you were in a place where you had to overcome a challenge, what would you to eradicate it? To be a true hero you always need to be willing to push through unexpected situations, and no matter the problem, try, try again. You have to work to be a hero, it takes effort and time, you can not give up. A hero is someone who never gives up, no matter the circumstances or situation.

A hero needs to be someone who never gives up, even if times are hard and rough, they always work through them. They need to be adhering to their journey. In the article “Soldier home” the soldier that returned to home after a serious injury said, “Nothing is stopping him”(2) This explains that he will not stop even when times get hard and no matter the obstacles …show more content…

In the article “The high school baseball team that lifted a car to save a life” a high school baseball team risks themselves to save a girl from underneath a car. “The team sprinted towards the parking lot, jumping over fences to get there.” (1) This fits my thesis because, no matter the circumstances the baseball team was determined to help the girl. They were not going to let her get hurt anymore. This is significant because they were just willing to stop what they are doing and not give up on the girl until she was safe. Another great example of what a hero is not is in the video “The most inspirational video you will ever see Nick Vujicic” People who do not act are not heros. “Everyone obviously at the bottom of the slide is waiting for everyone to come down, and here I come down and the are freaking out.” The people at the pool may have been trying to help him, but really they are not realizing he can do things on his own.
