In all honesty, I feel that this journal reflection and the last class conversation have been a learning experience for me. To start, I am going to discuss why I agree with the Catholic Relief Services idea on “Social Nature of Humanity.” According to the Catholic Relief Services website, it describes the idea of Social Nature of Humanity as “All of us are social by nature and are called to live in the community with others-our full human potential isn’t realized in solitude, but in community with others. I was taught this at a very young age and because I was the second oldest, I needed to teach it to the younger siblings. I remember when my sisters and I were fighting over something little like sharing our toys, both of our parents wanted us to find a common ground by talking out how we can share the toy. As I got older it really clicked for me to have shared community. When I began to play sports and join clubs in middle and high school, I was exposed to a variety of different and also similar individuals, who had different ideas compared to my own but I was open-minded about everything that was being said. Whether it is how to win against the other team or figuring out what should be the theme days for spirit week. We all work together as a community and most importantly a team to think of ideas towards the common goal. While working with either the team or the members of the student council, I began to learn more about myself and how working towards a common goal with great support can teach you to become someone to turn to in the need of hard times in our
