Since social media is always available to anyone at any time, it can lead to serious consequences, including losing your job. Social media sites give employers a glimpse of their job candidate 's life outside of his or her interview. Many employers choose not to hire that person due to something they have found on his or her social media page. Business managers want an employee who will present a strong image for the company. Arguably, social media shows a person’s true colors in regard to how that person acts, so it is no wonder employers are tuning in.
