Over the years food trucks have became more and more popular. They have completely interrupted the restaurant business by making the food industry mobile and easy to bring food to the people.(“Changing”) Instead of people coming to the food now the food comes to the people. In the past few years the food truck industry has blossomed. Food trucks have mobilized the food industry, they have lessened the amount of space to prepare and serve food as well as making it easier to serve guests and customers, and they have also been a great success with social media. Food trucks have completely interrupted the restaurant business. In 1978 the Direct marketing act was signed by Governor Brown, (“Paving”)The act is what allows food truck owners to own and operate their food truck. With food trucks people don't have to go to the food the food comes to the people. They go anywhere any traditional caterer could not go.(“Catering”) Just recently there has been a website where anyone can book a food truck to come to anyones own social event.(“Catering”) Each one of the guests can choose what type of food they want to satisfy their plate. (“Catering”) Food trucks allow owners to prepare and serve food straight from the truck.(“Paving”) More importantly they have made it easier to serve customers by lessening the amount of time it takes to prepare the food. Because the trucks are mobile and smaller than any normal kitchen in a restaurant the owners need to learn how to prepare food fast and neatly using the space they are limited to in the food
