Is Walt Disney World really what it seems? Cinderella’s castle that glistens in the background, Main Street U.S.A that rolls out the red carpet for the visitors that wander in every day, and Mickey Mouse, who is front and center for all of Disney. Millions of people walk through the main doors every year expecting to see Snow White, Tinkerbell, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They want to ride the thrilling rides, visit Tomorrowland and Frontierland, and see all of their childhood characters come to life. These people are so focused on the main concept and the big picture that they are blind to the little things that actually mean so much to Walt Disney World and paint a whole new big picture, a puzzle of sorts, for people to figure out. Yes, it may be “The Happiest Place on Earth”, but what is hidden behind the intricate doors? What is there but goes unnoticed? What is underground even?
Walter Elias Disney, better known as Walt Disney, had a plan all along. His plan wasn’t just to make “The Happiest Place on Earth”, he wanted to create, inspire, and teach. On the grand opening of Disneyland in 1955 Walt said, “To all who come to this happy place; welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past ... and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America ... with the hope that it will be a source of j...

Mickey can be found walking around without his head on, Alvin, from Alvin and the Chipmunks, has his costume laying around all over the hallway, and Cinderella can be seen strolling around and humming a tune.
