Recommended: Unhealthy school lunches

I walked into the lunchroom, and they handed me my lunch tray. They gave me a scoop of orange looking spaghetti with 3 meatballs that were the size of a tennis ball. The school should change the school lunch menu because the food looks raw and like different color, also the food looks disgusting, and its really bad for your health. I believe they can change the schools lunch preparation. The school lunch is sometimes raw and is a different color. For example, last year I got food for the first time and it was Chinese food. I got a bite of the chicken and there was this one spot with green on it, and that day forward I never got food there no more. But before that there was mac and cheese and I started eating it and my friend just says “ Don't …show more content…

For instance, when they hand your tray and you grab what you're going to eat or even scoop it out of the container. Really give it to somebody who does eat that disgusting looking food. Last week the school gave out hamburgers for lunch and some come with cheese and some don't. My friend Jaileen doesn't like to get lunch from here because the cheese on the hamburger looks like straight up plastic. Why do they give out plastic looking cheese, it doesn't even look eatable. Can they get at least better cheese. Also, the school lunch is really bad for your health because of all the grease and the calories it has in it and on the outside. For example, “We can do a tremendous amount of good for kids across the country if we change school lunches.” The calories on the middle school breakfast are 350-500 calories. Parents get mad at the school because their children are getting obsessed by eating all the grease and fat of the food.
I say we should change the schools lunch menu. No way I love what they make in the kitchen it tastes amazing just like what my mom makes. Well I disagree because haven't seen all the grease the chicken has and the calories. Aren't you tired of just drinking milk and water. That doesn't sound that great with a hamburger and pizza. Haven't you saw that grease just drip from the pizza when you're trying to bite
