Robin Williams the Father of Modern Comedy Without the humor of comedians all of our lives would be a living sinkhole of misery and depression; one of the most relieving comedians of our time was Robins Williams. His comedy was very light, but his acting was very heavy. It could range for audiences of all ages, but yet have jokes only those of a certain age could understand. Without the comic humor of Robin Williams we would be stuck in the comical age of the early fifties.In the Movie Patch Adams the belated actor said the following, "What's wrong with death sir? Doubtfire , or went wild with Alan in Robin Williams easily became a household name, but before these major leads he was a stand up comedian genius and everyone’s favorite alien . His career started on the reviving of TV’s “Laugh in” which failed but landed him in a spot in “The Richmond Prior Show” which also failed,but gave him a lifelong friend. Even after make appearances on both shows he did not become a known talent until his appearance on Happy Days which lead to the spinoff “Mork and Mindy”(NYtimes). After four years of laughs the Mork and Mindy era had ended, but his career did not die instead we got the movie of the classic cartoon “Popeye”(NYtimes). Paul Deburge film critic was even moved by the performances of the comical titan he even said,”It was Dead Poet Society that did it. That was the movie that pushed me over from a casual moviegoer to a full-blown movie junkie, the one that sent me back to the video store night after night looking for my next fixed, desperate to discover other movies that could make me feel the same way.” This comical genius was even able to inspire a younger generation through his several movies in child appropriate movies such as; Aladdin, Night at the Museum and Flubber just to name a few(Deburge). His roles were spread thin and far apart it was very easy for him him to be a serious Nanny but yet also a very humorous father which one might say reflected his parenting
