Although, I may not be as active and involved, or may not seem as interested in this course as the other students, I must admit this is one of few classes that I have taking here at the University of Florida that has impacted my life in one or another. The things I have learned from the many assignments you have giving us; I will forever use in my near future. I thought I knew everything there was to know about stress and anxiety, I mean I experience stress and anxiety more than often. I 've learned a multitude of things from you, my peers, and the book that I did not know entering this course. For instance, people who was once broke but now are rich and famous still find a way to have financial problems. Not only that, these individuals be so depress that a lot of their lives are cut short because the use of drugs. I rather be broke and happy with people around me that actually loves me and care about me than being famous and lonely any day. Stressing over certain situations like jobs or test to me are good stressors because that goes to show that those things aren 't being taking for granted. Things are taking for granted when they aren 't taking seriously. I honestly believe that there is no such thing as a stress free life. In other words, we stress about the things that are important to use and worry less about the things that are not. I rather stress some time than live a complete worry free life because that means you’re comfortable and I never want to get to a place I am overly comfortable with where I am at in life. Being comfortable leaves you no room to grow and I want to forever evolve. I would much rather experience anxiety than entering a situation totally confident. I know for me, every time I am overly confident for an exam or a presentation I end up doing bad because I do not study as good as I should. When I am not sure of the material I seem to put in more effort to understand it. For instance, when I go into an exam with a positive mindset that I am going to receive an A I always end up getting a C or lower. When I go into a situation doubting myself I always seem to do better than expected. For example, I had a group presentation in my theory class and we thought we were going to do so horrible; therefore, we over prepared. Even as the day approached we still had our doubts because the groups before had not done so well. However, he said that my group was the best one thus far and we were the first group to get a
