The checklist of behaviors and attitudes reflecting charisma showed that I am strongly charismatic. I think this is very accurate because I have often been described as likable by peers and acquaintances. Having this characteristic makes it easy when meeting new people or being referred to for a position or job opportunity. I have been referred by many adults for opportunities because of the charismatic behaviors they saw that I had, such as babysitting for younger and more energetic children or cheering up someone at the hospital or nursing home. Having worked in church ministry for a while, I was sometimes selected to lead others by standing out and going up to newcomers with a smile and charismatic attitude.
Appearance is also a big factor to my leadership behavior. I believe that if you dress to look nice than you are more likely to act cheerful and view the world through rose colored glasses. Although some may not understand the way I dress, or think that I am trying to show off in some way, I genuinely enjoy dressing a bit above average. With a put together outfit I feel motivated and confident, able to take on the day with a smile. Appearance can shape a person’s attitude, which also effects those that are

Not because I am quick to brag, but because I want others to be able to have the same experiences. When writing papers and filling out questions for scholarships, I become excited to share the highlights of my life with others. Reliving my joyous moments brings new motivation, and that shows in my writing. I also enjoy sharing the experience with others. Most people who have never traveled love to hear of the many mission trips and adventures that I have been on. I love to watch the expressions on their face as they ask questions, and always use my accomplishments to further their dreams by assuring them that they themselves can do the same
Everybody's personality is different. Some may be extraversion's or narcissists, low self-monitoring or high self-monitoring and the list goes on. During this semester, taking Personality Theories has thought me more about myself than I have learned in my whole life. I believe that my personality stems from my family environment, my friends and society and then I get to choose what I think to be morally correct and what fits with my personality the best.
Being a charismatic can be important, since it is thought of as “an exceptional quality of an extraordinary leader” (Chen, Belkin, McNamee, and Kurtzberg, 2013). With an overall assessment score of 88 (85 being the cutoff for high charisma), I “have self-confidence and strong conviction about my beliefs” (Student Assessment Library, 2008). At the same time, “charisma exists only if followers say it does or if followers behave in specific ways” (Chen et al, 2013). Very good
I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.
One of my greatest skills is being able to be compassionate towards others. By placing myself into someone else’s shoes, I find myself being able to better understand where other people are coming from. I am an extremely caring person that will go to great lengths for anyone. I can easily overlook the differences in other people, and this is what helps me get along with almost anyone that I come across. In order to lead people in a positive direction you need to be able to relate to them on a more personal level. It is much easier when people feel comfortable around their leader. I always like to lend a helping hand or even a shoulder to cry on when it is needed. My strengths include integrity, optimism, faith, innovation, and adaptability. These strengths are important to have in leadership positions. Leaders should have a firm hold on their beliefs and morals in order to have a positive impact on people. Keeping my commitments is crucial to me, because I am a woman of my word. I think this is a good trait in leadership, because people need to be able to count on the person that they look up to. Optimism is also something I value. I belie...
Proper attire and good attitude is very important in evaluation of first impression. In the company, there are rules that I must obey and comply. This include in time management, and appearances. It is a big responsibility for me because when I was assigned to to my training in the company, I bring USM image with me too.

Our personalities are what distinguish us from each other beyond our appearance; without them, we would all behave and react in the same way. Personality is the reason we are outgoing or introverted, persistent or blaze, and anxious or calm. We each have different levels of these competing characteristics that make us unique. But why are personalities so varied? Personality is determined by an array of factors from genetic and biological to the personal experiences and decisions we have faced from the day we are born. The complexity of our personalities cannot be simply explained, and for this reason there exists many different theories of how it’s developed and personality is still deeply under study. I went into this subject with an open-mind
Physical appearance affects the personal development of individuals. An attractive physical appearance can attract lot of people. It makes them sociable and individuals are more courteous of them. For examples film stars have elegant looks. (Patzer, 2006).
Our physical appearance counts all the time. It reflects who we are, how we carry ourselves, and how we represent the company we work for. All employers look for someone with a favorable appearance that sets a person to be competent, professional, and confident that will make an impact to their company. Either way we are judged by how we physically appear. Good appearance makes a person stand out among others especially when applying for a job. Besides having all the skills needed for the job, professional appearance helps a person to be noticed and recognized by employers. Physical appearance is also a factor of how a person feels about himself. Good appearance boosts self-confidence. It attracts positive energy which helps a person express oneself and makes others pay more attention to you.
The study of personality theories of psychology is the section of psychology which studies individuals’ personalities and differences. A theory is a model that helps us predict or explain an outcome; in this case it is personality or behavior. Our personality is what makes us unique or different from other people. Many personality theorists may not feel the same about the development of personality or behavior but, they all are interested in the commonalities among people. How are people “put together,” how do they “work,” and how do they “fall apart.”
The relationship between personality and behavior. Does our personality cause the behavior to stay calm or go on a rampage? People all over the world have different types of disorders and a certain disorder is called a personality disorder. Arguments from researchers have been made whether or not with someone who has a personality disorder has anger problems and is a danger to others (Davison, 2012). Behavioral problems come from social-cultural influences such as presence of others, the media and peer influences (Myers, 2014).
Understanding the uniqueness and differences in personality is an important part of communicating with others. Understanding my own personality is even more important. The purpose of this paper is to provide a clear definition of my personality traits and how they affect me personally and how this knowledge can benefit me professionally. The defining of my personality traits in this paper is done through the observation and study of the Meyers-Briggs / Jung Typology Test. I will explain and define the result of this test, along with the application of its knowledge. Needs work
Personality takes many shapes and forms and is affected by many factors. My understanding of personality is simply a genetic and environmentally determined set of psychological traits that influence our reactions in the world around us. Genetic because our parents possess a certain set of psychological personality traits that we tend to have in common with them so therefore in my opinion there are heritable personality traits. Personality is environmental because we each have our own separate experiences in the world and these experiences help form our unique personality. Neo-Freudians such as Jung have given us a wide array of ideas of how they believe personality is developed and formatted. Jung in particular has a very interesting
However, it is said that fashion helps people to decide how to dress. It can provide them some useful advice about what to wear in order to create a good impression. What is more, dressing fashionably increases self-confidence because it causes to be trendier and to receive nice comments. It is generally believed that the ones who wear fashionable clothes tend to feel more confident and self-assured.
When I contemplate human nature, I believe people know life is finite and while animals live to survive, humans live to try be remembered. People yearn to persist, this explains society’s obsession with immortality, vampires, zombies, and the longing to be reminisced. Collectively, I think many humans dread loneliness, society equates isolation with emptiness and as a substitute they engage in a surplus of consumerism to feel comfort. People relentlessly upload pictures to feel reassured by others. People desire authentic connection and due to technology and social media, I conclude that many people fail to create meaningful relationships. There is a subtle hollowness that many oppose, yet never resolve.
