I had the opportunity to do my field experience during vacation bible school at my church. Each year, my church host a vacation Bible school for children and adults of all ages. This year’s theme was “Shining Stars”. I was selected to co-teach the younger elementary class that consisted of students from the ages of seven and eight. The majority of the students had completed their first year of second grade and was being promoted to the third. The course of our vacation Bible school included different lessons for four nights. The first lesson began on a Tuesday night with the topic of “Hearing God’s Call. The memory verse for this lesson came from 1 Samuel chapter 3 and verses 1 through 10.
