After reading “The Declaration of Independence” for the first time in its entirety, I found myself a bit confused. This couldn’t possibly be the document used as the centerpiece of our political and governmental foundation. The document contains views of fairness for all people. It reads like a how-to manual on to disperse an equitable balance for representation as a government body and society as a whole. Literally, I wanted to exclaim YES to the top of my lungs because the author of this literary masterpiece really gets it. He read his oppressors and corrected them with no holds barred.
