Class observation of Social Work 301 class, located in New School of Business building on the Alabama A&M University campus. The date is 5 November 2015 and the number of people in attendance is roughly 18. The purpose of this meeting that is held each Tuesday and Thursday is class on Understanding Human Behavior in a Social Environment. This paper will reflect my observations of the class flow and some of my personal opinions. The observation began on Thursday 5 November 2015 at 7:45 am, and the professor is already here. Three other students are in the class also; they are always the first three. Walter and two young ladies. I only remember Walters name because of his slow drawl and dreaded hair. The other two ladies sit in the third row together always, yet they never really talk to each other. They are consumed with their cellphones. The class officially starts at 8:00 am, and people begin to show up. Professor does a Good Morning introduction and ask the same question if anyone has read. The responses are basically the same ”NO” however it is the morning question. Question is posed about the test given previously from one of the students just calling out. My personal opinion is that they appear clear and understandable. However my opinion does not count. This is continued for nearly 10 minutes with the going back and forth with the dates. The begging and pleading of the first four rows of the class. Once that debate is over the class wants to know if an essay could replace the final exam. Which even peaked my attention to hear the answer. I would enjoy that but, I would not dare ask such a question. I want to believe there is a level of respect that should be given a Professor to know what they want to do in their
