The one thing the I learned very quickly at the Veterans Resource Station, was as soon as you walk in that door it is kind of a free zone for veterans. Normally this student gets somewhat picked on but he does picking also. Well another student who is usually joking and picking was in there and starting joking and picking on him about what he had said the day before with this student who isn’t feeling well. So the student who wasn’t feeling well went at him and started yelling and saying let’s fight. It got pretty heated and I was the only one in the office at that time, so I jumping between them and made the student that didn’t feel good go outside with me. We stayed outside for about fifteen minutes and the student talked to me how he didn’t think that anyone should ever make a joke about something when someone says something that means a lot to them. He also said every military person knows when they are not to cross that line and that student did. We also talked about what medicine he was on and how it can make him more irritable than normal and since he didn’t feel very good that it would be a good idea to stay away from the resource station till he was feeling better. My supervisor talked with me about the incident and he was going to follow up with the other student and he said that I made a good decision on convening the student that didn’t feeling good to

The first learning outcome in which I would like to discuss is writing. Writing effectively for rhetorical situations while working on my discourse community paper about Kappa Delta Sorority is perhaps one of the areas I found myself struggling the most in. This is because I consistently got stuck when making sure the paper had a logical flow within each paragraph and keeping
"Achievement was all very well, but it was the process, not the goal, that was most important" (Sotomayor 92) – I live among these lines. You learn more over the process of your goal than the goal itself.
As far as my goals go I have set three short term goals, three mid term goals and three long term goals. One short term goal I have established in order to prepare for my future is to become more familiar about marine biology through reading articles
My entire life, I have strived to do well in everything I do. I have never wanted to settle for second best in the activities that I am interested in. Once I have a goal in my mind, I work until it is complete. I work to overcome the obstacles ahead of me. In school, I work towards perfect marks on everything from homework to tests.
My first goal was to be more respectful to teachers. I can say I did a better job on that this year. I wasn't perfect, I still gave attitude and got sent down to the office twice for being disrespectful. I didn't get suspended this year and the two office referrals were during the first semester. After that I wasn't sent down to the office at all. This year was a better year for me when it came to behavior but the other two goals...they didn't go so well.

In conclusion I believe that I have developed both skills working with others and improving your own learning and performance. But I need to work on these skills so I can use them in a more effective way; and I also recognise that I will not develop these in a short period of time. I will have to work on the strategies I have mentioned throughout the assignment in order to improve these skills.
I work hard on my goals and usually achieve them. I also know my personal wellness is strong and plan on keeping it that way.
Currently, I have completed 9 12-hour shifts in the medical/surgical ICU, during this time I have made excellent progress in attaining my established goals. I completed sub-goal 1 and have completed approximately 75% of sub-goal 2. I was successful as my goals this semester were realistic and achievable within the short time frame (10 weeks). In total I created 4 unique and specific activities to assist in achieving my overarching learning goal.
The author has designed the personal learning plan around the diagnosis of his learning needs, statement of specific learning objectives, learning resources and strategies, evidence of accomplishment, how the evidence will be validated, and how the learning will be evaluated. I will concentrate on the five disciplines: Systems Thinking, Personal Mastery, Mental Models, Shared Visions, and Team Learning introduced by Peter M. Senge. This will allow me to expand my leadership abilities at my current job as well as jobs that I may hold in the future. What distinguishes leaders is the clarity and persuasiveness of their ideas, the depth of their commitment, and the extent of their openness to continually learning more. They do not "have the answer," but they seem to instill confidence in those around them that, together, "we can learn whatever we need to learn in order to achieve the results we truly desire" (Senge, 2006). Senge is explaining to us the importance of being open and to expand our knowledge. That is why every leader and employee should create a learning plan, so that they can understand as much about themselves. This allows them not only to believe in themselves, but others to believe in them as well.
My goals when I went into my internship were to learn more about catering specifically, however I wanted to learn as much as possible. I completed all of my individual goals that I started out with, as well as having

Each person should have their own goal to make sure that they have reasons to live. Without goals we never aim what we want to do. “if you don’t have a goal in life, you are spending your life running around and not achieving anything for yourself”- Bill Copeland. This quote wants to tell us that in life you will always be on the same stage without having the desire to improve yourself in any manners. Having a goal will motivate you to strive whatever you want to achieve instead of wasting your time do unnecessary things. In this task, I have to explain two types of goals which are personal goals and professional goals. The goals are :
