I am writing this letter with the hope that my appeal for readmission into the Colorado State University (CSU) MBA program will be approved by the Graduate School Appeal Committee.

After some time and strong consideration, I have come to the conclusion that I have a desire to complete the process of obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Not from just any institution though. I would like to complete the CSU's MBA program. I stated in my grade appeal letter dated September 30, 2013, that "I really enjoy the MBA program at CSU. I have been able to apply the knowledge pragmatically in many areas of my business and eagerly anticipate the continuance of gaining even more knowledge throughout the rest of the program." Because of my efforts, I was recognized and nominated by my peers for the San Diego Business Journal's CFO of the Year Award in 2015. As you see, my qualities that were found atrractive before, remain intact. I am still fully capable of succeeding in the CSU MBA program. My grades in every other class, in which I actually attended and participated, prove this. What has changed is the situation. I no longer have to deal with the wrongful incarceration of a child. Yes, life is filled with many pressures and we must find ways to cope; but, some circumstances are much more impactful than others. An honest parent cannot say, with confidence, that they would sit on the sideline and do nothing while their child
