For some people sports is just a game, to athletes it is their life. According to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) an athlete can only participate in their own school’s sports or club sports (OHSAA). This means at New Knoxville Local School, my school, my brother or any other athlete won’t be able to play football while attending school at New Knoxville. My intention is to make it possible to go to school at one place, but play sports at another school.

Helmets both new and used are not formally tested against forces believed to cause concussions. To play inside the rules mean to follow the rules. It means not to hit someone hard on purpose to injure them. Too many players are hurt from other people trying to hurt them. Most players need to learn the proper techniques of playing football. You must know and obey the rules of football. There’s is a reason why tripping, clipping, grabbing the facemask, blocking below the knees, and helmet-to-helmet hits are illegal. They can be dangerous to other and you. The point of the game is to hit the others teams players, but if u do not do it right, you will cost your team on the field and greatly increase the risk of injury. When making a tackle, you always want to have your head up and never lead with your head because that how bad things happen. This is known as the term spearing, which is not illegal. It greatly increases your chance of a traumatic head or neck injury. Before you play a game, you want to practice tackling with correct form until you are sure you can do it safely in a game.
