This investment would serve to better achieve a reduction in crime and delinquency. This upgrade would be relatively simple since the current policy is similar to the Perry Project. Another very important reminder, and something that I became aware of through this project, is to always consider the individuals who will be impacted by this policy. The investment in their lives is extremely important because at the ages that early intervention deals with, they may not have anyone else to fight for them. The policy that is implemented should really have the best possible outcomes for children associated with it.

Speaking positively and highlighting your strengths will teach them to be proud of their talents, skills and abilities. Positive and honest praise for positive acts will greatly benefit them. Open communication with your child without any presumptions will allow them to easily sail through difficult situations.
Positive reinforcement is a gentle and effective method to implement discipline in the classroom, where students understand the importance of good behaviour, and as an outcome students behave well (S, 2016). According to Charlie S (2016), positive reinforcement has been seen to be a more viable procedure than punishment. Actually, it can make children to concentrate on the positives and encouraging them is a valuable approach to guarantee good behavior. Mather and Goldstein (2015) stated that behaviors can retained or changed with appropriate outcome. Teachers can use the procedure defined by them to accomplish students’ behvaiour using the following outcomes.
The Effects of Video Games on Children Many people claim that violent video games are desensitizing children to violence, and making them more hostile and aggressive in social situations. Many video games nowadays have some sort of violence. These games can range from mild to extremely brutal. When children are exposed to these games, they very well could affect how children think. These games, when exposed to children, will, in fact, make them desensitized to violence, and even become violent themselves.
It has been used as a way to nurture stronger relationships between students and teachers (Gable, Hester, Rock, & Hughes, 2009). Because praise has shown to improve relationships between students (Nelson, Young, B. J., Young, E. L., & Cox, 2010) in addition to relationships between students and teachers (Gable et. al., 2009), teacher-to-teacher praise may create the same results. Conclusion Research shows that for schools to flourish, it is essential that staff well-being becomes a priority. Improving staff well-being can be beneficial to educators and schools as a whole, and one way to do that is through peer praise.
Children are able to learn positive behaviours though watching interactions between teachers and other children. According to Hyson and Taylor (2011), this strategy works, since children are more likely to develop prosocial behaviour through imitation. An example of prosocial behaviour could be when a teacher is consistently generous and caring towards the children. Children are more likely going to copy this behaviour when observing. Another strategy to promote prosocial behaviour which can be used by teachers is through building a secure relationship with children.
Three important factors in positive education are relationships, optimism and resiliency. Compton and Hoffman described positive schools as being “caring communities that are built around cooperative relationships” (2013, p. 269). Research has shown that our brains are designed for social relationships (Wilson & Conyers, 2011a), and people learn language and thinking skills best in the context of a positive relationship (Willingham, 2009). In Thinking for Results, Wilson and Conyers stated that, “More than any other element of education, the teacher makes the largest difference in the amount of student learning” (2011b, p. 11). By encouraging positive relationships between teachers and students as well as students with other students, the classroom environment will not only be more enjoyable but will also help students to learn
Positive reinforcement is made up of positive communication. This includes positive words that will build them and that they can relate well with. As kids grow, this will help build up their self-esteem because they believe what their parents and elders say. This trust is what will take this positive communication and turn it into positive results and behavior. At the end of the day, the kid will be a wholesome individual and a constructive one in the society.
Abuse can be a whole range of physical behaviour, slapping, hitting, beating, or using weapons to hurt someone. It includes verbal and emotional abuse, where someone is constantly insulted and made to feel sad and worthless. It can also include rape and sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is when someone forces another to have sexual intercourse or do other sexual things against their will. Another form of abuse is total control where one adult makes all the decisions for another person or for a whole family.
