• All questions under the “Use of Time” section is unequal in positive and negatively geared questions. The only positive question in that section is when the TRS asked if the client was satisfied with the use of thier time. All of the others indicate something negative; disorganized, time wasted, never enough, all of these words indicate harmful use of time. There needs to be at least two or three more questions such as “wisely” and “leave you feeling happy” to make the section equal with positive and negatively geared questions.
• I feel a second or third line for leisure/recreational interests would be better then having two lines of community involvement. It is my opinion that people have more leisure activities they engage in then church and other social organizations. Even better, would be to break this question down into three sections. First is your top leisure and recreational interests maybe activities the client does all the time, the second section would be the activities you do often but are not your “top” activities, then followed by the third section of leisure interests that would like to engage in you just do not always have the means of doing that activity. This can give the TRS a greater knowledge base of the clients favorite activity, activities they like, and activities they enjoy but are …show more content…

Such as if the client needs information for living that is wheelchair accessible or community activity centers, this information could be provided shortly after the assessment to help the client get motivated towards their discharge goals. Giving them information early allows the client to process the information and be able to communicate with the TRS if this is helpful or if they need other material. Another example could be if the client was in pain, an immediate action could be for the TRS to contact someone to that could help with the client’s
