As technology progresses, the American culture starting to have a synergetic association that is codependent on each other. Technology was built on the means of benefiting humanity by making communication and entertainment more accessible. Through the use of technology, wireless forms of communication has become immensely popular. Just about everyone in America has some type of electronic device that connects them to the world - the World Wide Web. Generally, parents use wireless technology to connect with their children, and children are using technology to stay in touch with friends and family. Equally important to wireless technology is how much of an influence social media have on a family. According to Cummins, Denise in "The Rise in Obesity Is Due to Stress" he says, Americans are getting fatter due to poor eating habits or diets and stress (para 1). What he means by this is that the American overweight problem is becoming an epidemic and along with that is stress. Wireless technology makes life convenient to a point where one doesn’t have to leave the house to send a message or seek the means of entertainment. For example, with the use of cell phones one can simply pay bills, receive or cash checks and contact children to check up on them. In American culture this include everybody form the mom and dad as well as their children. In a biological perspective, the body stores energy such are fat in order to sustain its ability to function properly.
