Popeye’s is a fast food restaurant that was founded in Atlanta in 1992 as AFC Enterprise Inc. according to Louisiana P Kitchen, the company is a developer, operator and franchisor of quick service restaurant, which is under the trade name ‘Popeye’s’ Louisiana Kitchen and Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits. Popeye’s is an international franchise and have about 2000 restaurants worldwide, however Popeye’s is chosen as my observation because of the ideality of its location. It is located in an urban area on a small shopping plaza, the neighborhood is populated with different race/ethnically diverse people of all age range some of which are African American, Hispanic, Asian American etc. It is a developed area with several small shopping plaza, which consist of department stores, clothing stores, liquor stores, other fast food and fancy restaurants; the surrounding area consist of small medical buildings(doctor and dental offices), auto parts shops and other small businesses. Public transportation is easily accessible also one or two sports bar is close by where you can enjoy a little night life. I visit Popeye’s at least once per week, I don’t dine in a lot, so I mostly use the drive thru, the staff is very friendly and their restroom is always clean compare to other fast food restaurants that I have been to. From my observation girls were very interactive and tend to be particularly more talkative.
