Often times people inquiry us, “Why we're here?” I’m present in this world because I was destined to be here. I attend to this school because it was my decision to come here. I made it to my freshman year of college because I performed well in high school, studied, imposed all my work and dedicated my time to get a better future. When I came to the United States, English was not my forte. However, I did not want to let this obstacle to hold me down. I was determined to prove to my family that I can become someone to be proud of . Although at first I did not put all my effort into school, right now I have reached my objective. Before, I used to act like everything that happened was going to happen anyways, I never actually believed that you can control your own destiny. However, Plato made me realize that you can really do anything you put yourself to do when you want it. Plato is a vision that illustrated the future to me and the fact that he was able to go back and compare both of his experiences made me realize that with the merited set of mind, you can do anything. He came out of the cave and saw a whole new world with a brand new insight of reality. He concluded, extolled, visualized, and generated a new set of mind for himself to try and live the years he missed, right. Therefore, after reading Plato’s story I thought to myself, “why think negatively instead of actually doing something to make it work? Hard work or not, just try.” Now when I speak to my mother and express myself, she observes the change in the way I speak, the way I elucidate myself and make intelligible my attitude. If I keep a positive outlook on life, I will be able to progress and show off my accomplishments. Goals will be met and my mother and I will receive the items we deserve in
