Samoa is located in the Oceania, which is a region that has more than thousands of islands all over the central pacific ocean. The Oceania is controlled by Australia. Oceania is divided into three different levels High Island, continental islands, and Low Island. The islands have different features the continental has many of the physical features, but the low and high islands barely have and physical geography. Samoa has nine islands, the biggest is Savaii the second largest is Upolu. The islands Savaii and Upolu don’t have active volcanoes. Volcanic activity occurred once in 1911. The capital city is Apia is located in the northern of Upolu. Samoa is between Hawaii and New Zealand. There is little level of land, except in the coastal areas, where most agriculture is surrounding the area. Samoa has the most beautiful beaches, the seasons never change it always summer time.¬

The temperature stays constant through all year. In the summer it gets really hot but the highest temperature is 35 °C. It’s hot in the morning until the afternoon but when the sun goes down the cold breeze comes from the east-southeast. Samoa has a tropical climate but doesn’t mean that it’s always hot and humid. Rain fall from December until February. (Weather Online) Samoa is located in the southern hemisphere so summer lasts from November to February and winter from April to December. That doesn’t mean that in winter it’s extremely cold but it’s only cooler than summer. Typhoon can occur in Samoa but it only hit it on the end of January and mid March. Typhoon is an large, strong, and destructive storm. But the storm is not dangerous for Samoa. Because the route that the typhoon occurs often is not southern hemisphere it only occurs in the Philippines’ and china. The typhoons that every time they hit Samoa not every time they are strong.
