Recommended: Role of coffee in the economy

The coffee industry is widely grown, alone, it is a twenty billion dollar exporting industry. Eighty-three percent of the adult population drinks coffee daily. That means 587 million cups of coffee is being consumed every day, which makes coffee the number one consumed beverage in the world. A favorite drink in the coffee world is a macchiato. What is a macchiato? Being a barista, when I think of macchiato I see a single shot of espresso and a little bit of foam on top. When you ask for a macchiato from Starbucks you might get an iced drink that looks layered and pretty. Today, I will be teaching you how to make the iced macchiato from Starbucks.
