Did you know that turning your thermostat by one degree can cut 8% off your fuel bill or did you know that it takes 75,000 trees to print a Sunday edition of the New York Times? No, well neither did I. Going green is a positive reinforcement on protecting the environment at the same time as benefiting society altogether. It’s a great way to do something constructive and positive in your life, knowing you’re doing something good and beneficial. Even students in school are taking the initiative on going green in their community. In addition, I think it’s the best way to operate a college without harming the environment and best way to save money. It almost appears to be no down sides to it and it looks like you can’t weigh the cons because it seems like it’s nothing but positivity. Society is happy and the environment flourishes. It’s basically a win-win and it’s amazing to see how these innovating ideas to go green work. Overall, going green for whatever reason seems to benefit everybody and the ecosystem as a whole.
In conclusion, going green benefited many communities, however numerous amount of people don’t implement these ideas that students from college campuses come up with. Even other colleges don’t use these ideas either. Overall, society should utilize these ideas to conserve resources and save money. Conserving resources will allow the environment to flourish causing the ecosystem to produce more resources.
