Babysitting is not what sounds is like, there will not be any sitting on babies. That might get a couple of lawsuits against you. Babysitting is simply looking after a child or children while the parents are out. Babysitting is a nerve racking job at times, you have no idea what kind of kid you could be watching.
If you want to babysit all you need to do is to get an invite from a parent to watch their children or just suck up to the parent or put up a poster with your phone number. Hopefully no creep calls you for other reasons, if that does happen take the poster down as soon as possible. Once you get a taker, make sure you know how many kids you will be watching and hopefully you will not be surprised with instead of watching just two girls you end up watching six. At that point the social workers take the child and put them in foster homes with complete and total strangers. Some companies just put kids with people who do not care about the children just what they get paid. They just let the children go off and do what they want and do not supervise the children’s activities. The social workers should do more thoroughly background checks. There should also be more supervision in foster homes instead of little supervision, and the workers should visit the home and the children more often than they actually do.
