Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. To be free is a powerful thing. You can do pretty much whatever pleases you, as long as you’re being considerate to others. It takes a lot of trust to receive freedom. Freedom is such a broad and wide open topic. Not many can truly define what freedom actually is, even though it exists today in a lot of their lives. Many don’t agree on what it is because it leaves a lot of things uncertain. Freedom is a powerful thing, but can also be misinterpreted and difficult to receive. There are essential freedoms everyone should have. According to Theodore Roosevelt, “The first is freedom of speech and expression- everywhere in the world”(Roosevelt 275). Roosevelt’s four essential freedoms appear to be referenced from the constitution because this is a freedom in The United States, and not many people around the world have these freedoms except in select countries.The second essential freedom to our way of life in The United States “ is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way”( Roosevelt 275). But one thing that everyone wants to choose is freedom. Some go all the way in to be able to choose freedom all the time. Choosing freedom means that there is no going back, and you have to finish your fight to win ultimate freedom. Some it may take more than others only because you live somewhere in the world that is a dictatorship. So with this, I can conclude that the world is unfair, and unjust in judgement.
