Through the journey of self-discovery, I have realised firstly and most importantly I wish to do something meaningful in my life, to leave a legacy of sorts, and secondly to employ my need to understand the world around me in a way that will achieve the former eventuality. My reasoning has inevitably led me to study the sciences and these will be subjects I hope to continue to study A levels. The ambitiousness of my goal is inextricably linked with my core values that include hard work, focus and determination. All of which I have used to achieve As in core and additional science and will achieve the A’s and A*s that I am predicted. Whereas the subjects I am committing to are the sciences, I see no reason why I cannot also enjoy English where my love for fiction lies. The potential words hold, enable me to exercise my mind and think beyond the basest of meanings and understand the various interpretations made by different people.
