Personal Narrative: Water Skiing

“UGHHH!” my mama and daddy just told me I was spending the summer with my aunt, uncle, and cousin that lives in Dallas, Texas. Although I lived in the city and never really went to the country, I was happy to be able to see them. I rushed to the phone and called my cousin Tamara. As she answered the phone and said “Hello” I said “Hey, i just got the big news that i was spending the summer with ya’ll.” “I know sounds great doesn’t it and we get to do a lot of water skiing,” she says. “WATER SKIING!” I said, “the only water activities I do is lay on a float tanning in the pool.” The next morning my mother got me up to get ready to go to the airport to fly to Dallas. When I got to the airport my mom and dad walked with me to get my airplane ticket and waited for my plane they told me to have as much fun as possible …show more content…

The pilot of my plane announced that we would be arriving in an hour or so even though we already spent two hours on that plane. An hour and fourty-five minutes later we arrived. I got my stuff together, and got off that plane. My aunt, uncle, and cousin Tamara was waiting for me. As I walked over Tamara had already started running for me, so she grabbed my bags and walked back with me. When I got to where they was I dropped my bags and the next thing I know is i’m in the air. I looked back and it was uncle Ed holding me in the air.They asked me how my flight was and I said good. We got in the truck and headed to there house. Once we got to their house we got out and took my bags inside, and went outside to ride horses. The next morning we got up and got ready to go water skiing. We got our stuff together and put it in the truck to leave. On the way to the lake my uncle Ed asked me “if i was ready, because it was my first time, for the best time of my life.” I said “ YES!
