From when I was a little girl, soccer has been a huge part of my life. My parents raised me with the sport of soccer. We loved watching FC Dallas no matter how their season was going. Most of my memories of being a little girl have been playing soccer, going to FC Dallas games, or just watching countless matches on the tv on Saturdays and Sundays. The funny thing is that I even went to FC Dallas games before I was born. (My mom was pregnant with me). As a young child we would try to go to games at least once during the season. It made me feel so special and appreciated because I never met him before. Just imagine being a young kid and having one of your favorite players wave to you before a game. That's crazy. I was a young girl so of course I had high goals and expectations with what I wanted my life to become. I believed that I could do it and I would be the next greatest thing. Unfortunately, there came a time where it just wasn't fun. My life had gotten busy and my friends were starting to quit. I would have to join a new team pretty much every year because there wouldn't be enough people on the roster. It was starting to grow old and I didn't enjoy making new friends and having them leave once the season was over. I still love the game but looking back, I should've stuck with it. There were so many great life lessons that I learned because of
