Personal Narrative On Meekerville

I have always been close with my family my entire life. All throughout my childhood we have been together almost everyday and have experienced many memories together. We all get along so well because of the fact that our family is so close knit. And partly because of the fact that all my cousins are boys as well. So when we all ended up living within a half mile of each other. Well lets just say that we took on a town of our own. “Meekerville” as some might call it started back in 2008 when a flood hit our home town of Oakville. We all new that it was gonna happen so we all gathered at my Grandma’s house since she was the highest up. Well once the levee broke we were literally surrounded by water for what seemed like forever. To get groceries or just to go anywhere we had to ride our fourwheelers up into the bluff behind my grandma”s house. We figured out that there is a lot of fun things you can do when you constantly have seven other cousins around to mess with. Especially if every single one of them is a boy. We used to be really into paintball and almost every weekend we would get the whole family together and some friends and we would play paintball all day and have a blast. If you don’t know what paintball is, its a shooting game where you shoot these balls filled with paint and try to hit the other person. The paint inside the ball is to make it easy to see if that person is out. The goal is to shoot out all the other team. My dad was really good at paintball back when he was in shape and young. He used to do tournaments and bring home these huge trophies for use to look at. I remember one time him telling me that about this tournament he played in down in St. Louis. He said if he woulda one the whole thing he could of brought home a whole
