Since joining the team on October 10th, I have attended a variety of safety meetings. The last C&DS monthly meeting was on November 2nd. I also joined the safe walking campaign led by Kelly Stroud. With that group I educated others on the dangers of distracted walking. In addition to attending meetings, I have conducted myself in a safe manner while in and out of the office. I have had zero recordables, zero injuries and zero accidents. I have completed all assigned KEY courses. I also completed a number of courses I felt would benefit me in my role at AEP. In total, since October 10th, I have completed 36 KEY courses. Some of those focused on gridSMART, reactive power, MACSS, UIQ and MDM. When I learned the team would be having a value stream mapping session, I completed courses on the LEAN process as a whole and value stream mapping individually so I would be able to participate in discussions. …show more content…

Each day she would set aside about three hours to sit with me and walk me through each account. By November 8th I was working independently. We would only meet if I had questions. I am currently processing all load research for companies 2, 7 and 10 on a daily basis. In addition to processing the daily load research, I am working with Karen Lee on her monthly load research. For her September sample set, I researched each premise and recorder to gather all the information she needed. This required me to fix gaps in data, create files and issue IO34s. I completed this for Karen in just one week (this time includes waiting for the IOs to be completed and having the data sent
