Ever since I was young, I remember building boats and ships in my room. I would spend hours putting crafts together to build the perfect sailboat. I imagine sailing off to the seas, riding in the huge floating waves and finding myself in the Bermuda Triangle. I was always fascinated in the cases of mysteries and the unknown while finding my intellectual intrigued in discovering more about the ocean. “Bermuda Triangle,” I enter in the search bar of google, popping up with many sites. I would sit in my chair and read for hours. Scrolling down the page, I randomly clicked the letters in blue, leading me to a Website called “Museum of Unnatural Mystery,” mentioning the abnormality of large numbers of plane disappearance. I continue to read further, visuals of the water forming a vortex hole to devour ships and planes. The mouth of vortex leading below the ocean, lightning flashes down to the surface and magnetic force pulls on the objects passing by. A USS cyclops, a US navy ship, went missing in this region, which is a famous case. The mysteries continued to intrigue me. What could be the cause of this? …show more content…
So I decided to research further. Some say it is just theory and conspiracy due to the vortices, magnetic variation, space-time warp or even UFO. They believe the legendary Island Atlantis could even be active somewhere in the Triangle due to its technological advances. These theories make the Devil Triangle just a myth; even so, I would like to explore it myself to see what the marine and aquatic life is like. I want to see the ocean currents and discover why so many lightning strikes occur there. This phenomena would be my mission to further explore the ocean floors and the deep
“‘The ‘Bermuda Triangle’, or ‘Devil’s Triangle’, is a mythical geographic area’, states a fact sheet issued by the U.S. Coast Guard” (Gaffron 17). One of the most influential groups in the United States believes that the Bermuda Triangle is only a myth. “Most rational explanations for the incidents in the Bermuda Triangle, including the explanations given by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, include human error and environmental effects” (Obringer). The U.S. Navy has lost quite a few ships in the Bermuda Triangle region and believe that the reason behind those disappearances involved either human or technical difficulties. “Plane ditchings or explosions in flight may result from many causes; lack of visible evidence being explained by the truism that ‘It’s a big ocean’” (Berlitz 6) The reports from the people that actually lost lives believe in that something bad but normal happened which is a sound explanation for the
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is the cause of many unexplained disappearances that happened within its boundary. One of the many mysteries of the triangle is Flight 19. Five Avenger planes vanished without even a single trace. What happened to Flight 19, did aliens actually abduct the planes? Or is there another explanation as to how they disappeared?
In September of 1578, the fleet, now three ships, sailed through the deadly Strait of Magellan with speed and ease, only to emerge into terrific Pacific storms. For two months the ships were in mortal danger, unable to sail clear of the weather or to stay clear of the coast. The ships were scattered, and the smallest, the Marigold, went down with all hands. The Elizabeth found herself back in the strait and turned tail for England, where she arrived safely but in disgrace. Meanwhile, the Golden Hind had been blown far to the south, where Drake discovered - perhaps - that there was open water below the South American continent.
The Bermuda Triangle (the Devil’s Triangle), is a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by a line from Florida, to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. It is well known for all the mysterious things that happen within it. It got its name from a news article written by VIncent H. Gaddis in 1964. He claimed that in that part of the Atlantic ocean, a large amount of ships and planes have went missing without any explanation. He wasn’t the first to claim something about that area, but he gave it the name. The first major story about the Bermuda Triangle was when the USS Cyclops went missing in 1911. It is the most famous ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle. It served has a collier for the U.S Navy during World War 1. It was on its way from Bahia, Salvador to Baltimore, Maryland. The ship never made it to Baltimore. The ship could have sunk anywhere between Baltimore and Bahia. It is not proven to have sunk in the Bermuda Triangle, but that was the area they had said it sunk in.
The Bermuda Triangle is a mysterious section of the Atlantic Ocean covering a huge area from the point of Miami, to Bermuda and Puerto Rico where numerous numbers of ships and airplanes have vanished either for good or found near by as rubble. Although a plethora of theories have come about regarding this vast areas, none of them come to show that these often disappearances occur more frequently in the triangle than in other often experienced sections of the ocean. In fact, people navigate the area every day without incident. If this is the case, then why is it that so many disappearances do happen in this area? Most of these occurrences occur to people traveling through the Bermuda Triangle either via vessel or plane. With this question
“In total, six airplanes and 27 men appear to have vanished” (How). On December 5th of 1945, five U.S. Navy bombers went missing without a trace of why. Later a rescue plane was sent to search for the plane and the survivors, but those planes disappeared as well. That incident is one of the most famous and well known disappearances in the area (How). The Bermuda triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean which many people believe mysterious disappearances have taken place. It reaches Puerto Rico, Florida, and Bermuda in a triangle shape that covers approximately 500,000 square miles (History). The mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda triangle are myths as evidenced by people who travel the area safely every day, there is no scientific proof of the mysteries, and there are scientific reasons why people have disappeared.
This event proved to, the most famous US Navy losses which have occurred at the area famously known as the Bermuda Triangle are USS Cyclops in March. The ship probably sank in an unexpected storm, and traces of them have never been found. This event indicates that there is another nature that is unknown to the human world of the jinn. In addition, this event can be proved from the Holy Quran that Allah said:
The mystery of The Bermuda Triangle has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most bewildering phenomenons, and has kept scholars and conspiracists alike scratching their heads. It has defied all aspects of logic, science, likelihood, and probability. According to a late September, 2017 article by Holly Christodoulou, a writer for “The Sun”, “The Bermuda Triangle seems to have laid claim to at least 1000 lives via the mysterious disappearances of massive man-made vessels such as planes, boats, and cargo ships that remain unfound to this very day” (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2021520/bermuda-triangle-ships-planes-conspiracy-theories/).
You might know that the Bermuda Triangle is a legendary place where numerous disappearances have occurred, but how much do you really know about it? Some people don’t believe in such a place, but some do. Research has been conducted to try and figure out what could possibly be happening here, but with no hard evidence. The mysterious Bermuda Triangle may be more than just a myth though; the Bermuda triangle has a long history of disappearances, few people live through it to tell the tale, and possible theories have been made over the years leaving scientists questioning this strange phenomenon. The history of this legend dates way back.
As I sat in the boiling hot sun, the heat that had overwhelmed me throughout the day surpassed. I was engulfed by Lu Paul, a native Hawaiian advocate who was telling me the story of how Native Hawaiians loss their rights. “How did my people become a minority in their own land?” he asked me inquisitively. I found myself making many connections with this man’s story and my own. As he answered my questions about inequality in his community, he began to speak of many things that I had witnessed in my life, that I thought only my own culture experienced. “My people need to fight for equal education, language rights, and employment”, he stated firmly. It was in this moment I began to broaden my perspective of inequality and minority rights. This along with the many other field experiences I had during my semester abroad, help shape my desire to attend law school and work both nationally and abroad in civil and human rights.
A skeptic once argued “trying to find a common cause for every Bermuda Triangle disappearance is no more logical than trying to find a common cause for every automobile accident in Arizona” (“Bermuda Triangle”). Although some theories may be more plausible than others, this implies that there is not one single explanation for these disappearances. While some researchers propose far-fetched theories, historical events as well as scientific observation and experimentation show many reasonable explanations to the abnormal phenomenon that occurs within the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. Background Information The Bermuda Triangle is best known for its strange phenomenon and unexplained disappearances.

My trip to the Getty museum was filled with anticipation and an unknowing of what Iwas actually searching to write about. I went on a Friday at about eleven but the museum was still full. It took about twenty minutes to find parking, the wait in line was long, and the tram had so many people it felt even hotter then it actually was. But overall the experience was fun. I enjoyed checking out the works of art and watching the classes of elementary students learn about the history and culture in the room. On one occasion I was very surprised because a mother asked her daughter, who could not have been more than six, about a painting was which she correctly identified as Vincent Van Gogh’s Irises, which was great because I never knew about Van Gogh at her age.
In conclusion the bermuda triangle is an imaginary triangle with a deadly reputation. No explanation has been proven correct and the mystery is still to be solved. After countless events of paranomal activity being reported, it is difficult to believe that the triangle is a safe place with nothing peculiar about it, even though most researchers believe differently. The sense of mystery, publicized occurances of paranormal activity, and attention from scientists and researchers has continued to fuel interest on the matter.
The Bermuda triangle is a place that boggles many scientists even in this day and age. The Bermuda Triangle, referred to by some as the Devil's Triangle, is in a western region of the North Atlantic Ocean where countless aircraft, ships and people have inexplicably disappeared. Throughout the years of 1955 and 1975 more than 428 vessels disappeared, along with 100 ships and 1000 lives (Obringer1). Where did these people and ships disappear off too and how come no remains were found is the mysterious question people yearn to find out. Back in the 1964, the Bermuda triangle was often nicknamed as The Devil's Islands, because sea travelers could hear various different screeching noises coming off the shores (Obringer1). The Bermuda Triangle is a whirl pool of mysterious occurrences where things have magically disappeared without any remains and no matter how many theories scientists come up with to solve the mysteries of this enchanted island, none come close to having answers for any incident that occurred on this island.
