Make a wish is impacting kids all around the world, from sending them from disneyland, to making them police officer for the day or helping them meet their icons (favorite Celebrity). One of the kids named Kevin got to meet several of his icons, his wish was to meet the Seattle Seahawks.Kevin was three days old when he had his first heart surgery. Since then, he’s survived three other surgeries and too many emergency room visits. Every time he runs or exerts himself, there’s a risk of sudden death, which usually keeps him on the sidelines. But for his wish, Kevin was able to join the Seattle Seahawks on the field. Kevin’s wish had to wait though. It wouldn’t be complete without his dad, who lives 7,000 miles away in the Middle Eastern country

But a tragic accident suddenly leaves Kevin fighting for his and his fathers lives. Having to use the knowledge and skills that his father had taught Kevin suddenly suddenly realizes his dad was right after all.

Since they feel this way about each other, he is fearless when it comes to love, knowing that Dana and him can support each other. When he comes back from spending five years in the 19th century, Kevin becomes more reserved and hidden from the world. “The expression on his face was like something I’d seen, something I was used to seeing on Tom Weylin. Something closed and ugly,” (Butler 194). When a traumatic event happens, even love cannot tarnish the walls built up by the experience. Nonetheless, his character mostly stays the same during this period of time, but he still has to adjust to the “new world,” making him a bit moody and unresponsive.
