I didn’t honestly know how my high school experience was going to go. I just hoped I would do good but I’ll be honest, I was excited to get to go back to school with my sister again. When it was the first day of freshman year for me I hung out with my sister in the band hallway and I remember like all of the seniors going through the hallway next to us yelling, “we hate freshman” and spraying kids with silly string and condomes filled with pee; I never got sprayed. My freshman year was fun I went to my first homecoming with my sister and it was great! After the first semester we moved to Sullivan Missouri which was a big difference but a good one. My sophomore year of high school was pretty good too, this was the year I realized that I like to write poetry. I was in Ms. Heads class and we had a big assignment where we had to make a poetry portfolio and write some poetry. Some of the types of poetry that was required for the assignment was sonnets, free-verse, and narrative poems. I actually had to go first which was scary, yet I still did it, and it wasn’t that bad. I still managed to keep straight A’s the entire year. I won the Smarticle Particle award for the school which was really cool and another award but it was for putting up with another student. I took a Medical Administrative Assistant class also but it was counted as a business class. I eventually got used to the quizzes, I didn’t mind them in Anatomy & Physiology because I thought they were easy but the math quizzes was kinda difficult because I wasn’t used to taking them every class period, however, I got into the routine. I also was inducted into the National Honor Society which I was very excited
