During World War 2 Adolf Hitler began what would be known to be called the holocaust which was the extermination or genocide of millions of Jewish men and women. To eliminate groups of Jews at a time Hitler put many systems of persecution into effect that would demoralize immobilize and in the end kill a large amount of the Jewish populous. One of these systems of persecution that was used to eradicate the Jewish people was the use of gas chambers and vans. Sometimes at random hours a truck full of Nazis would pull up on unsuspecting Jews and kidnap them and stick them in gas chambers at their concentration camps. With gas vans however the Nazis would tell the prisoners that the vans were for taking showers and if you decided not to go inside
